Howdy guy, Found a 460 in stainless steel. Does anybody know anything about one in ss? It;s so shinny it looks like its chrome plated?
Does anyone know if a new Mark V Accumark will fit in an old Mark V stock. The older wood stocks are pretty but I have never seen a pretty composite stock. Thanks
I have a Weatherby .300 MKV German. The rifle has never been fired and until recently was still in the original box it was purchased in back in the 60's. I am wondering what an approximate value would be. I can take pictures if that would help but I am wondering if someone could give me a rough guess. I would classify the rifle as being in excellent shape, but I am knew at this. Thanks
Some information that I've learned on the first and second focal plane. In a fixed power scope this would be irrelevant but in variable power scopes it can be important. First focal plane reticles are installed in the optical path at a place forward of the ocular lense group. Second focal plane reticles are installed in the zoom mechanism of the ocular. I am trying to work up a load. I am having my rifle customized and can not fire the loads yet. I would just like to know where to start, since Swift does not have a book. I am looking at RL22, RL19 and IMR 4831 powder. I am currently leaning to RL22 with 88 grains of powder. I would appreciate any input. Thanks Mike Davis
